15,000 postcards demanding repeal of Bill 124 delivered to Premier Ford. CUPE Local 6341 President-elect Pam Parks (Lakeridge hospitals) speaks on February 22 at Queen’s Park.

OCHU/CUPE met March 4 with the Premier’s office and asked that any retention bonus be applied to all health care workers. They asked that Bill 124 be repealed and that we be allowed to bargain real wage increases and benefit and premium improvements for the nurses and other health care workers that they represent.

Today (March 8, International Women’s Day) we collectively acknowledge the contribution women make to better Ontarians’ lives.
