June is National Indigenous History Month, below is a list of some amazing events that are happening here in Hamilton and surrounding area! Let’s take the opportunity to go and learn about the unique cultures, traditions and experiences of the First Nations, Inuit and Metis.

National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration Spence Smith Park, Burlington Friday June 21, 2024.
National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration Hamilton City Hall, June 21 12-1pm.
“That Nature of Healing” A Documentary Screening. A fundraiser in Support of the Mohawk Village Memorial Park – Players Guild, September 21 @ 2pm
These are just a few of some amazing events happening this month, but they extend far beyond our region.
